Well, it happened: 2018 came and went, and we are somehow a full week into 2019. I often experience whiplash this time of year, going from 1.5-2 weeks of unplugged holiday time to the chaotic January return to the real world. I haven’t always been disciplined about reflecting when a year comes to a close and a new one begins, but as 2018 marked the first full calendar year of running this business (self-high five), it seemed important to pause.
This year, I put together a set of questions focused not just on reflecting on the past year; but on creating purpose for the year ahead, as well. I’m not much for resolutions (apparently that’s the trend this year ), but I do like the idea of creating a theme for the year that can help me prioritize and guide my decisions.
And so, without further ado, I’m sharing my Reflection & Reinvention resource with you. Even if you fill this out and never look at it again, I hope the practice of pressing “pause” and acknowledging key moments in your year is as helpful to you as it was to me.
Here’s to a kick ass 2019!
